Blogium 1.2.5 and Non-Gmail users

This update has no new features, but fixes two critical issues with Blogium 1.2.

- Now non-Gmail users can login to Blogium too. Problem was caused by Google API changes during development of Blogium. Now, everything is tested and working properly.

- Fixed problem causing application crash while viewing empty blog.

I'd like to apologize to every non-Gmail user of Blogium for inconvenience. Blogium 1.2.5 is in-review by Apple and will be free for all current Blogium users in 8 to 12 days.

Announcing Blogium 1.3

On monday I'm starting working on new update of Blogium. This release will get version number of 1.3 and will contain two main improvements:

First thing will be localization with Russian and German languages, I'll try to ship more languages with 1.3.x updates, but for start those two will be great.

Second and most important thing is that Blogium 1.3 will support Video Publishing directly from iPhone to your YouTube account. Due hardware limitations this feature will work only with iPhone 3G S.

Three Big Things

Blogium with Photo Publishing
First of all, Blogium 1.1 with photo publishing is now on App Store and available as a free update for current users. Newcomers can purchase it from App Store for only $4.99. As I mentioned few posts away, 1.1 induces huge amount of new features including – photo publishing, landscape keyboard, live search with-in posts, redesigned comment viewer and many more.

Blogium 1.2 – In review for App Store
I've just submitted Blogium 1.2 into App Sore which delivers even better photo publishing user experience and advanced search for posts which will search in post titles, content and even labels. Search field is styled like an native Apple's Mail app search, it feel, looks and work really cool.

Twitter? Yeap!
Yes, Blogium 1.2 will support Twitter notifications about new blog posts in your blogs!

Internationalization

As Blogium 1.1 with photo publishing and huge set of refinements is in review by Apple and will be published in about a week, I continue working on even up-coming versions. Currently I'm working on 1.2 version. Some new features you can see on Blogium's official website on Version History page, there are some really neat things.

Main reason I'm posting now is that I've started to rewrite Blogium a little bit to make it localizable. I can't promise Blogium 1.2 to be in some other languages than English, but there will be Blogium 1.3 with German and Russian languages for sure. For other languages I'll need your help.

If you are interested translating Blogium into your native language please contact me via this e-mail and I'll discuss everything else with you personally.

Other Blogspot Clients

Today I've investigated other Blogspot/Blogger clients on App Store. I wish Blogium 1.1 to be approved ASAP, because it will be best client availible today. I'm very excited by this new version which I already use now. Blogium 1.1 will be availible in 10 to 12 days as a free update for current Blogium users.

I'm not going to stop here tho, I really want to implement video publishing for iPhone 3G S.

1.1 + 1.2 = 1.1

Yesterday I've made so much new improvements and features, that I couldn't resist to reject current Blogium 1.1 update from review and merge it with 1.2. It's still will be called 1.1 but list of improvements became huge. After this update will be eleased for sale, Blogium must to became best Blogger/Blogspot client for iPhone on sale today.

Blogium 1.2

Today I was working more than 13 hours and developing Blogium 1.2, which will deliver huge user interface and performance improvements. I'm allready using it and it has complitelly defferent feel, a very good one. There are lots of refinments and new sweet features in terms of user interface and twice as fewer annoying "Loading" indicators. More info too come, stay tuned.

P.S. And yes, there is landscape keyboard too ;)

Submitted Blogium 1.1 to App Store

Blogium 1.1 is on it's way to App Store. Apple requires up-to 14 days for application approval, so in a 14 days or so Blogium with photo publishing will be available for purchase or as an free update for current Blogium users.

This is test of up-coming Blogium 1.1 with photo publishing. I'll submit it in a few hours to App Store. Final test are over and Blogium 1.1 is ready to go on sale and as a free update for current Blogium users. Blogium 1.0.1 is Available

First minor update of Blogium with version 1.0.1 is now available on App Store. Here are some changes were made:

• Every link in post and comment viewer opens in Safari
• Fixed wrong line-breaks after composing or editing
• Minor performance improvements

Blogium 1.1 with photo publishing will be submitted to App Store tomorrow, at saturday on September 12 and available for download in 2 weeks or so.

Major update with some new functionality on-board, including Photo upload and publishing. Of course it will be FREE for any current Blogium user.



Blogium 1.1 with Photo publishing will be finished and submitted to App Store in few days and available in 2 or 3 weeks.

"In Review" – App Store

Blogium still has "In Review" badge in my Application Manager of my iPhone Developer Program Portal. Most annoying thing is that I have absolutely no information about review process at all. I tried to write to App Store review team, but I've got automated response saying that very app is reviewed individually and review process time individual either. So everything I've to do now is to wait more, and I do not know how much to wait.

Today I'm starting another stress test for Blogium. I'll try to find more bugs and increase performance as-well. Everything I'll change today will be available shortly after Blogium approval as an minor update and of course it will be free for Blogium users.

Still Waiting

It's been 3 days since Blogium was submitted to Apple App Store and it's still "In review" status. Development is paused for now. Waiting for responce from App Store.

Submiting Blogium

I's 2:39 AM and I'm sitting in front of my iMac and submiting Blogium to Apple. Sumbittion process is so hard that you easily could spend 2 days on it. Olny getting correct certificates are so over-complicated that I've nearly become mad. There are zillions of certificates requered to compile submittion ready app to Apple. So, here we go. Hope for best. I've lots of work to do with contracs even if Blogium is seccessfuly submited.
